In every domain or career, it is a fact that every professional who are making it big on the industry as of today all started from scratch. Just like Thomas Belesis, a famous and trusted Wall Street stock broker, there was also a time when he was just “a nobody”. However, it was not long before he has totally found his niche in the field and gained respect from his alliances and competitors that he is indeed one of the main players in the battleground of financial services in New York, the most sought-after field when it comes to economics.
Prior to his success, he was just a normal fresh-out-of-college young professional who is trying hard to fit and learn how the finance industry works. It was not very long before he found a field of specialization and pursued it day in and day out. Every day, he worked more than eight hours a day just to get to his recent stature now. He was your regular employee who stays at the office long after all the other employees has already called it a day. His unwavering passion to be successful and lead a rags-to-riches story was so potent that he totally defied what his body allowed him to do and worked more hours than others did. So as always, it is true that those who succeed are the ones who exert extra effort even when not asked of it. It was all relative stories much like the young Tommy Belesis that time.
It was in 2007, when he finally saw that his career was leading to something great, something beyond what other will and had achieved. After waiting for more than a decade for his turn, he finally had the chance to put up his own independent retail brokerage firm, John Thomas Financial, though others were skeptic about his skills and were raising eyebrows thinking that a newbie cannot survive in this type of typhoon-filled industry coupled with a lot of fluctuations.
Modesty aside, 2007 was a witness to the great decline of goods and value of money in the United States. Needless to say, it is such a bad timing to put up a business, and more and more companies are either closing down or laying off employees. Having the audacity to fight the odds, Tommy Belesis believed in his instinct and went on anyway. This decision was proven to be a gold mine as his baby company was able to surpass this hurdle. So when others are firing employees, he started hiring. From a small office room, he now has a building of numerous filled with three hundred employees and is still devising a new company expansion plan.
Today, John Thomas Financial is a New York giant who is undisputed and unstoppable. Truly reaping what he had sown, JTF is now one of the biggest companies and looked up to by other companies who were all once non-believers to what the neophyte Belesis can do.
